Practice areas
How I can help
Four areas I work in every day. Almost always the issue is the same: money sitting somewhere it does not belong, or agreements turning out differently than intended.
Debt collection
For twenty years I ran a national Dutch debt collection and bailiff organisation. If a Dutch company owes you money, I know which pressure works. No cure no pay on undisputed business claims.
Tenancy law
Deposits that are not returned, rent arrears, nuisance, subletting and contracts that do not comply with Dutch law. For landlords and tenants alike.
Contract law
A good contract prevents most disputes. I draft them, review them, and litigate when things go wrong anyway.
Corporate law
Shareholder disputes and director liability, with an eye for what such a conflict does to a company, a workforce and a family.
What I do not take on
I only take on matters where I genuinely add something. These areas are not among them, and I would rather say so now than after an hour of talking.
Legal aid is available through me for the areas I do handle, with one exception: tenancy matters. Do call anyway if you are not sure. You will hear straight away whether it is something for me, and if it is not, I will point you to someone in my network who does know the area. That costs you nothing and saves you weeks of searching.

Not sure whether your matter fits?
Do call. Within one conversation you will know whether it is something for me, and if it is not, I usually know someone who does handle it.
